I was riding in a friends RX-7 the other day and he just finished doing some major work (60-1 Turbo, New Manifold, External Wastegate, 3" Exhaust, Front Mount Intercooler, 2.5" Intercooler Piping, Larger Injectors... Basically all the supporting mods) Well, while driving around he had his wideband 02 hooked up to monitor it and I was noticing how extremely rich it really does run between shifts with a BOV. It was really getting down there, like as low as 5:1 when at high rpms. That convinced me to stay with recirulation valves forever. I always knew that BOV are just noisemakers, so leave that info for another post. The only thing is, I plan on purchasing Ash's 2.5" intercooler piping when it's available but it does not support the OEM Recirculation Valves. What to do???
